The DC & Arlington in a Day is the best way to see most of what the Nation’s Capital has to offer in just one day. It’s a comprehensive look at the most famous sights as well as a few hidden gems in a fun, unforgettable, and jam-packed day. Lasting 8 hours, the tour starts outside the Arlington National Cemetery Metro station by 7:45 am and ends by approximately 4:30 pm at the Smithsonian Metro Station. In between, you’ll see the top monuments and memorials in DC, stop for lunch at either the Pentagon City Mall or Georgetown depending on the season and take a cruise on the Potomac River or visit the Jefferson Memorial (also seasonal) in the company of our top-rated tour team.
Begin with a unique walking tour of Arlington National Cemetery led our experienced and knowledgeable guide. where you’ll experience the Eternal Flame at the Grave of President John F. Kennedy and the world-famous Changing of the Guard Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknowns first-hand. From there you’ll travel with your guide on our comfortable climate-controlled bus to get out and visit such key attractions as the U.S. Capitol Building (exterior), the White House (exterior), the Lincoln Memorial, the Martin Luther King Memorial, the WWII Memorial, the Iwo Jima (USMC) Memorial, the Air Force Memorial and so much more.
The entire tour is led by our live guide who walks you through each of the sites and narrates on board when riding. You’ll have the opportunity to photograph and see some of the most famous sites in the Nation’s Capital – all while learning key facts and unexpected details about each one.
